OPENING THE CASE FILES

The selected case histories have been included to illustrate the complexity of the work which is involved in the management of some MAPPA registered offenders.

In all of the cases the offenders’ names and one or two pieces of information have been changed to render them anonymous. But the material facts have not been altered in any way. These cases have been dealt with by the Multi-Agency Public Protection Panel (MAPPP) because of their level of risk management.
